Facilitation skills for “decent work ambassadors”

On Sunday, 20/6/2021, in Ajloun, We center concluded a training workshop on facilitation skills for “decent work ambassadors” for about 18 young men and women with and without disabilities from different governorates of the Kingdom, who were chosen from previous training that implemented during this year .

The training lasted four days, the first day focused on refresh for legal information related to the concept and elements of decent work according to the Jordanian Labor Law, as well as focusing on women’s rights and the rights of people with disabilities in decent work as contained in Jordanian legislation and international conventions, in addition to the 190 Convention on the Elimination of Harassment and violence in the work environment.. the other three days focused on facilitation skills and sessions planning .

During the coming period, the team of decent work ambassadors will implement dialogue sessions in their areas on decent work issues to spread awareness of the labor law….. this workshop comes within the activities of the third year of the decent work academy project, which is implemented by the East and West Center for Sustainable Development in partnership with the Swedish Partner Organization (IM).
