On Saturday, 11 / 9 / 2021, a training workshop on evaluation skills for the “improvement and follow-up team” was concluded in Amman for around 12 young men and women and some of them were PWDs from different governorates of the Kingdom who were chosen from previous training within this year.
The training focused on defining the identity of the team, the roles and responsibilities, communication skills , as well as a visits plan until the end of the year.
During the upcoming period, the improvement and follow-up team will be required to hold visits in their areas to facilities that employ persons with disabilities and women to evaluate if the work environment suitable for its employee or no, in addition to provide assistance and advice to improve the work environment to be more suited to the needs of its employees to achieve the concept of decent work.
This workshop comes within the activities of the third year of the Decent Work Academy project by East-West Center for Sustainable Development in partnership with the Swedish Development Partner (IM)
