On Friday, the first consultative meeting with a number of civil society organizations representatives concluded to discuss improving the status of workers’ rights affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Around 15 experts in labor rights met and diagnosed the reality of the damage and violations that workers’ rights during the Corona pandemic and they made several recommendations that will be announced soon and will be submitted to the next government and parliament.
It is noteworthy that this meeting is one of the activities of the Decent Work Academy project which implementing the East and West Center for Sustainable Development since 2019 in a partnership with the Swedish Development Partner Organization (IM).
